About the event
This two-session workshop will prepare you and your dog for the therapy dog test situation.
The first session (Jan 11th) will be for handlers only. In this session we will demonstrate the components of the test and discuss the role of a therapy dog in various settings. This session runs 6pm-7:30pm.
The second session (Jan 18th) will be for handlers and dogs. In this session you and your dog will have the opportunity to practice each of the components of the therapy dog test. This session runs 6pm-8pm.
Dogs must be able to work in a group setting and walk politely on a leash to participate in this workshop.
